OK, we were impressed about the Ainol V3000 HD, but we have failed to realize is that compliments are bound to get into the heads of some Chinese manufacturers. Ainol has just announced another 4.3-inch HD PMP, the V6000HDB also dubbed Rodimus Prime. Apparently, Rodimus was preceded by Optimus Prime, the V6000HDA. Well, this is [...]

More HD PMPs coming our way next year. KSD, a Chinese manufacturer, is readying an MP4 player up to 1280 x 720 pixels. Now we’re hoping the finished product would look like the photo above. It’s plasticky but also unpretentious and fun-looking. Very few details right now except that like most Chinese MP4 players the [...]

Chinese manufacturers are betting on high-def resolution to tide over the PMP market in these tough times, and I think they’re onto something. I have no idea how much the Gemei X690HD and the T9, successor of the RAmos T8, will go for, but my guess they will be pretty reasonable. Gemei will have the [...]

Well, we thought we knew what the Smart G11 was all about. Here’s a regular-looking gaming PMP from OPPO equipped with a swivel screen and was supposed to be dubbed the Smart MUSE G11 or the Smart GAME G11. I don’t know about you but whatever influences this PMP has, I just want OPPO to come [...]

QQ, the Chinese manufacturer, thinks the world of the iRiver SPINN design and so did what any good admirer would do: imitate.
